Endowing landscape photography with meaning has become one of the most significant tasks for contemporary photographers: one either utilizes landscape photography to delve into social issues, or explores the inner world through their lens.
But aren’t the snow-capped peaks shining in the moonlight, flocks of birds gracefully flying over treetops, the mountains gently swaying at sunrise, and the lake surfaces rippling like silk, these sudden and awe-inspiring sights, the very essence of meaning themselves?
If we disregard that the meaning has been bestowed by human beings, what else could there be「between landscapes」?
